School supplies for kids in Ghana.
A pencil is not a small thing when you do not have one. Gather 4 Ghana collects the basics — exercise books, pens, backpacks, maths sets — and gets them into the hands of children who need them to show up ready to learn.
What goes in a bag
Ordinary things, and the reason a child can take part in a lesson instead of watching one.
Exercise books
Lined and squared notebooks for every subject, plus folders to keep the work safe.
Pens and pencils
Pencils, pens, erasers, sharpeners and the colouring pencils that make a classroom fun.
Maths sets
Rulers, compasses and protractors — the kit older students are expected to bring from home.
Backpacks
A sturdy bag so books survive the walk to school and the walk back again.
How it works
Simple on purpose. Supplies are gathered, shipped together, and handed over in person.
Gather
Friends, families, schools and workplaces collect supplies, or send funds so we can buy them in bulk.
Pack
Everything is sorted into school bags, so each child receives a complete set rather than a loose box of odds.
Ship
Bags travel together to partner schools and community groups in Ghana.
Hand over
Supplies are distributed directly to students, and we share photos back with everyone who gave.
Get involved
Three ways to help. All of them end with a kid holding a bag.
Send supplies
Run a collection at your school, office or church. We will send you the list and the drop-off details.

Buying in bulk closer to the schools stretches the money further and cuts the shipping. Ask us how a contribution is used.
